Personal data is processed via ejbstore.com. We make every effort to continue to guarantee the reliability, security and integrity of the data we collect in accordance with GDPR legislation. In this privacy statement, we explain what activities we carry out and how we collect, use and process personal data in that context, and how we comply with legal obligations in doing so.

What information do we collect?

When you use our online shop, we may process the following personal data within the meaning of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  1. When you place an order with us, we ask for your name, address details, postal code and email address. We need this information to process your order; to deliver your order to the address you have provided, to draw up the invoice and if you wish to make use of the warranty on the products you order from us. Without this information, we cannot process your order. We use your email address to send you the invoice digitally and to send you the track & trace code. Your email address will NOT be used for marketing purposes. If you place an order for your company, we also ask for your company name and VAT number (if applicable). We need this additional information for correct delivery and invoicing.
  2. In order to offer you, as a customer, the statutory warranty on our products, the data must also be retained. This includes your name and address details and the date of purchase.
  3. During the payment process, you can choose to pay for your product immediately. To do so, you enter your payment details. These payment details are NOT processed by us, but are sent directly via a secure connection to our payment provider Stripe. Stripe is a leading company in the field of online payments. Stripe only uses data that is necessary to facilitate and process a payment.

What are the legal grounds for processing your data?

Execution of the purchase agreement

When you place an order in our online shop, we require your details in order to process the order. Without personal details, it is not possible to execute the purchase agreement.

Legal obligations

We provide a VAT invoice with every order. The management and issue of sales invoices is based on the legal obligation of EJBdesignery in its relationship with its customers.

Consent

During the ordering process, we will inform you about our terms and conditions and privacy policy and ask for your consent.

How long do we retain your data?

As a company, we are legally obliged to retain our accounts receivable and accounts payable records for seven years (tax retention obligation). As a result, this retention period also applies to invoices issued (both paper and electronic). We issue a VAT invoice for every order. Would you like to make use of our warranty scheme? In that case, the invoice also serves as proof of purchase.

Protection of your personal data

We take all necessary appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect your personal data and to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal data. Our online shop is equipped with an SSL security certificate.

Which cookies do we use?

Our online shop only uses essential cookies that are necessary for the online shop to function properly. These functional cookies are necessary in order to use our online shop and its associated features. For example, we use a cookie to remember the products you add to your shopping basket while shopping online. We do NOT use tracking, marketing, or analytical cookies.

Provisioning to third parties

We will not disclose the information you provide to us to other parties, unless this is necessary in the context of the agreement you have concluded with EJBdesignery or if this is required by law. For example, the delivery service will receive your name, address, postal code and email address in order to deliver your order and inform you about the delivery. We will never sell your information to third parties.

What are your privacy rights?

During the ordering process, you will see exactly what information we need from you. Nothing more, nothing less. You can always request an overview of this from us. You may also ask us for the personal data we hold about you:
– modify the data
– delete the data
– transfer to someone else
Send an email to [email protected], and we will arrange it for you.
